About MotoLu
I’m Lu (she/her), a motorcycle racing enthusiast based in the South of England. I’ve been following motorcycle racing (MotoGP in particular), since 2005. In January 2024, I began my ‘content creation journey’ with my TikTok account, ‘Moto_Lu’.
I started MotoLu to showcase MotoGP and its riders, whilst building a community of engaged MotoGP fans, and encouraging those who are unfamiliar with the sport to begin watching.
More About Lu
Aside from social media, I’ve volunteered at several community and hospital radio stations, reading news bulletins, and producing and hosting a variety of shows, including weekly sport recaps.
In 2018, I was selected out of hundreds of applicants for a BBC Sports Reporter Trainee placement. During this placement, I interviewed Max Cook (who at the time was competing in the British Talent Cup, and Red Bull Rookies MotoGP Cup), and created several pieces of content around this interview, including a radio feature, and shorter interview highlights segment.
In 2025, I began working as a Freelance Motorsport Writer. I am currently writing for Silverstone, with the aim of helping them grow their audience’s interest in MotoGP.

I’m fortunate enough to have attended several MotoGP races over the years, in 3 different countries. Being able to watch motorcycle racing in-person is an experience I will never take for granted, and has given me many of my fondest memories.
